About 1.5 - 2 hours of pre-planned instructional time, usually in small groups that rotate through stations of learning
Playground & picnic area (seating for about 40)
trash cans & extra trash bags
hand washing stations
bathroom
Parking for about 20 vehicles
Opportunity for a group photo (please remind me)
DURATION: After hosting over 100 field trips over the past 4 years, we have determined happy families and guests enjoy field trips on our property for the magical number: 3 hours! We have attempted 2 hour field trips, but there isn’t enough time and people stay 3 hours anyway. We have extended the time to 4 hours occasionally, but most guests left right around the 3 hour mark. There is something magical about that 3 hour number.
WHEN: Field trips are usually scheduled for weekdays at 10:00 AM. Our availability varies by the week and season.
Online Registration: Please scroll down to the online registration. Usually, registration is done by the primary parent (mom, grandma, dad, etc.) and there is a place to list the child’s name in the notes.
