PARENTS: What to pack and know about Cheyne Ranch Summer Camps:
☀️ Summer Camp 2026
Two separate ways to join us this summer — pick one, or both! 🎉
🐴 Summer Camp — 3 weeks, Tue–Thu · 🌿 Friday Nature Club — any or all 8 Fridays in June & July
Summer Camp Weeks ↓ Friday Nature Club 🌿Every camp day is packed with hands-on learning, outdoor time, and plenty of time loving on our horses and farm animals. Here's a peek at what your child will be doing! 🐴🌿
Hands-On Horse Care
Kids learn to brush, feed, halter, and lead our horses. Every camper gets a hand-led pony ride each day — about 10 minutes of saddle time! 🙌
Nature & Animal Care
From animal care to nature walks, kids connect with our bunnies, goats, chickens, and more while learning real animal care skills. There's always a lot of love (and a little mess 😄).
Games & Crafts
Outdoor games, animal-themed crafts, and hands-on activities keep the fun going between barn time. We never run out of things to do out here!
Lunch & Swim Time
We eat lunch together at our playground picnic tables. Summer campers finish the day swimming from 12:30–1:00 PM (weather permitting). ☀️💦
All summer camps run Tuesday through Thursday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM, with a 4:1 student-to-adult ratio. Ages 5–12 (other ages? reach out and let's talk! 💛).

Good to Know 📋
A signed waiver is required before your child's first day of camp.
We welcome kids of all abilities! 💛 If your child has special needs, please reach out so we can talk about whether our camp is a great fit. We want every child to feel safe, included, and excited to be here.
Our camps focus on caring for all our animals and for our horses - it is primarily unmounted — brushing, walking, washing, and connecting with the ponies. Each child receives a hand-led pony ride (about 10 minutes) each day. This is not a riding lesson camp.

These Prices Are Below What It Actually Costs Us
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we intentionally keep our camp fees below our true cost of operation — because we believe every child deserves this experience, regardless of their family's financial situation.
When you make a tax-deductible gift, you help us open our gates to kids who couldn't otherwise afford to come. Your donation directly funds a scholarship spot for a child on our waitlist.
