🌟 Longwood Autism Walk — Saturday, 11 AM–2 PM (Reiter Park)
We’re excited to be part of this incredible event for our 4th year! It’s a free, family-friendly day focused on awareness, inclusion, and connection—with activities for kids and dozens of local organizations supporting families.
We would truly love to see Cheyne Ranch families there—look for our booth and come say hello! Showing up for events like this is a powerful way to support the broader community we’re part of.
🏟 Arena Update
We’ve posted the latest on our arena plans—take a look when you have a moment:

This project is a big step forward for our program and the families we serve. If you’d like to be part of bringing it to life, we’re always grateful for your support.
🐴 Meet Our Newest Horses
We’re excited to introduce two of the newest members of our herd—Klare and Edward! Each has their own story, and we’re so glad they’re part of Cheyne Ranch—and part of what your kids get to experience here.

☀️ Summer at Cheyne Ranch
We’re looking ahead to a fun summer at the ranch!
We have 3 weeks of summer camp planned, plus 8 Fridays of our Summer Friday Nature Club—both great ways for kids to stay connected, active, and outdoors.
Riding lessons and our PALS program will also continue through the summer on Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
Spots fill quickly, so reach out to get your student registered for summer programs!
🐴 Family Visits at Cheyne Ranch
We love hosting what we call Family Visits—a great way to bring friends, family, or neighbors to experience time with the animals together.
These are structured one-hour visits that include time with and a horse ride for kids ages 2–21.
Family Visits are $60 and can be booked online:

👢 Free Boot Shelf
Don’t forget about our free boot shelf! Families are always welcome to “shop” for riding boots your child can use for lessons—or keep if they’re a good fit.
We also gladly accept gently used boot donations. If your child has outgrown a pair, consider passing them along to support another rider!
⛑️ Riding Helmets Available
We recently received a donation of Tipperary helmets—one of my favorites, especially for riders with more oval-shaped heads (humans generally have either oval or round shaped heads.)
We have a limited number available (sizes XS and S) for $75 each. Many riders prefer to have their own helmet, and this is a great option if you’ve been considering one.
You’re also always welcome to leave your child’s helmet in a labeled bag in our tack room—no one else will use it.

🤝 Community Resource: Safe Space Sitters
We recently connected with Jenna, founder of Safe Space Sitters, and wanted to share her as a resource for families who may be looking for additional support. Her service focuses on providing sitters who are experienced with children of varying needs in a safe, supportive environment.
If this is something your family has been looking for, you can reach her directly here:

📅 Block Calendar
Ever lose track of which week we’re in or when a session ends? Our block calendar makes it easy to stay on track.
Spring 2 and Summer are both posted so you can plan ahead:

As always, thank you for being part of this incredible community.
